WORKING FOR CHARITY - FUNDRAISING PAGE

SOME OF THE CHARITIES THAT WE HAVE RAISED MONEY FOR OVER THE LAST TWELVE YEARS ARE ON THIS PAGE

We have spent a lot of time and effort on Charity Events over these past 12 years or so raising money for the many charities listed below. At the end of 2023... the total was close to £40,000 . This is quite a considerable sum of money to have raised. This was only possible by making the events self-funding by advertising and sponsorship from local and National companies.  COVID 19 of course...put a hold on everything!

We took a short break in 2022 to concentrate on other projects within the Big Band music world...a genre that I have always had a passion for... and have danced to for most of my adult life.

In 2023-4 I hope to work In conjunction with the SWING BIRDS and the Deanery CE Academy once again...   details will appear on the EVENTS page!  All the ladies in the band give their services for free...that means that most charities benefit from an extra £1300 towards the funds raised.  Basically... that's what it costs to book a decent band these days.
